Heritage Project

Darryl Merchant, chairman of the Front Royal-Warren County chapter of the Blue Ridge Heritage Project, will present a program on families displaced during the creation of the Shenandoah National Park at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Samuels Public Library in Front Royal. Information: 540-635-3153.

Iwo Jima

Shayne Jarosz, director of special events for the Iwo Jima Association of America, will present a free program from 2:15 to 4 p.m. Wednesday in Melton Memorial Gymnasium at Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal.
