Valley Chorale concerts
The Valley Chorale of Front Royal has announced a revised schedule of Christmas concerts:
• Today: 3 p.m., Robinson Auditorium at Handley Library, 100 Piccadilly St., Winchester.
• Sunday: 3 p.m., Calvary Episcopal Church, 132 N. Royal Ave., Front Royal.
Emmanuel Episcopal Church will distribute food through its Emmanuel’s Table Food Pantry program from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday and again on Jan. 25 at 122 E. Court St., Woodstock. Information: https://tinyurl.com/4p77m7wm.
The Young People's Open Mic Night will be returning to the Box Office Brewery in Strasburg from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Little Noon Music
The Critton Hollow String Band will perform for the A Little Noon Music program from 12:15 to 1 p.m. Friday at Handley Library in Winchester. Information: www.handleyregional.org.
Dare to Dream grants
Friday is the deadline to apply for a Front Royal Women’s Resource Center Dare to Dream grant.
Grants are available to women living and/or working in Warren County, ages 18 and older, not currently enrolled in high school. The grants support professional growth, education and business start-ups for local women.
Feed the homeless
TLC Settlements will be traveling Jan. 23 to Washington, D.C., to hand out items and food to the homeless. Clothes, toiletries, blankets and food may be donated at 223 N. Royal Ave., Front Royal. Information: 703-867-2140 or 540-683-6031.
Brooklyn Clark, of Edinburg, has been named a new junior member of the American Angus Association. Junior members of the association are eligible to register cattle, participate in programs and take part in Association-sponsored shows and other national and regional events.
Teresa Shunk, of Front Royal, was named to the dean’s list at DePauw University for the fall semester.
