The first 50 kids will get a harvest-themed Grab-and-Go Kit, featuring apples and more from Virginia Farm Market while trying out a few interactive stations at the library. Kits can be picked up starting at 11 a.m.

• FrankenToys (ages 9-14): 6-8 p.m., Oct. 29. Kids will use a variety of tools to disassemble toys and put them back together as a whole new creature using materials like duct tape, sewing tools, hardware and more. All materials provided. Registration required.
