St. Paul Lutheran Church in Strasburg will host a community men's prayer breakfast starting at 8 a.m. Saturday.

Lions Club

The Woodstock Lions Club will hold its White Cane Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Walmart in Woodstock. Members will collect used eyeglasses and/or hearing aids along with donations to support the sight and hearing impaired in the valley. Lions Club brooms also will be for sale.


Laurel Hill Christian Church will host a pancake breakfast from 7-10 a.m. Saturday at 378 Laurel Hill Drive, Lebanon Church. Included will be sausage, eggs, fried potatoes, sausage gravy, chip beef gravy, biscuits, baked apples, muffins. Sponsored by Christian Women's Fellowship.
