Thursday is the deadline to register to attend a sculpture class from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, 901 Amherst St., Winchester.
Participants are encouraged to bring 10 objects that can fit into a backpack, such as knick-knacks, broken jewelry, fabric scraps, etc. A variety of objects will be provided. Registration is $40 or $30 for MSV members.
The Woodstock Fire Department will host a tenderloin dinner from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at the fire hall. The cost is $8. There will also be basket raffles by Thirty One and Pampered Chef.

The monthly United Way Rubbermaid product sale will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Belk parking lot at Apple Blossom Mall. This month’s sale benefits United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley.
Handley Library in Winchester will host a baking competition at 2 p.m. Saturday as part of Banned Books Week.
