A story that appeared on the front page of Thursday’s paper, “Bock’s Garage sues Town of Strasburg,” had the wrong date of a water main break. The break was April 24, 2018.

A story that appeared in Thursday’s paper, “Health District: Person attacked by rabid raccoon near Mount Jackson,” should have said the waiting period for an animal that attacked a human and is suspected of rabies is 10 days. The waiting period for a vaccinated animal that has been bitten by a wild animal suspected of having rabies is 45 days. The 10-day rule is limited to cats, dogs and ferrets.
