Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a 44-year-old Edinburg man at about 7 p.m. Tuesday after he allegedly threatened to blow up a building owned by his landlord.

Sheriff’s Office Capt. Wesley Dellinger said they arrested Michael Daniel on charges related to making a bomb threat.

The incident occurred in the 100-block of Printz Street in Edinburg when Daniel allegedly got into an argument with his landlord.

Dellinger said he did not know what the argument was about or whether the building Daniel threatened to blow up was the home Daniel was living in.

Deputies did not find any bomb or bomb-making material, Dellinger said.

He said he was not aware of the Sheriff’s Office having any prior contact with Daniel.

Daniel is scheduled for a hearing at 2 p.m. Dec. 21 in Shenandoah County General District Court.
