Fort Valley Nursery in Woodstock offers a beautiful, affordable option for a wedding, according to co-owner Terry Fogle

A couple can choose to hold their wedding in the garden center, which looks like an old barn found in the countryside of the valley, Fogle said.

“People like this venue because it is already decorated with our plants, flowers and trees. We are beautiful all year round,” Fogle said.

That saves the couple money that would be spent on flowers to decorate the venue.

Fogle said they will work hard to customize the look of the center to match the colors used in the wedding and even incorporate flowers that may be special to the couple or that the couple simply likes the look of.

Fort Valley Nursery also offers different options for the couple wanting to marry outdoors with  Massanutten Mountain as a backdrop. The couple could choose to marry in a picturesque gazebo or under a 10,000 square-foot-canopy attached to the garden center, Fogle said.

The couple can choose to use the Woodstock Garden Cafe in the nursery to cater their wedding or bring in an outside caterer.

The cafe even has an ABC license.

Couples can come into the nursery for a consultation for their wedding and pricing at no charge.

“We encourage people looking for a wedding venue to come visit,” Fogle said.
