A Front Royal man was arrested after allegedly stabbing his roommate's neck early Thursday morning, according to a Front Royal Police Department news release.
Anthony “Tony” Herbert, 61, of 456 Hill St., was charged on a count of malicious wounding.
When officers arrived, the news release states that a man bleeding from the neck told them that Herbert stabbed him after an argument and physical altercation. The victim was transported to Warren Memorial Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening puncture wounds, the release states.
Herbert was quickly located and apprehended without further incident, the release states.
Herbert is being held without bond at the Rappahannock-Shenandoah-Warren Regional Jail and is due 10 a.m. Sept. 21 in Warren County General District Court.
