A grand jury has indicted a Front Royal man on child pornography charges that police filed against him in November.

The Warren County grand jury indicted Robert Daniel Heishman, 27, of 612 W. 11th St., on two counts of producing child pornography for the explicit photos of a girl that a woman told police she found on Heishman’s phone.

Court documents show that the woman knew Heishman. She told police he had hidden the photos on his phone.

Court documents showed that Heishman worked for Warren County Public Schools but later reports showed that Heishman worked for ABM Services Company, a contractor the school system employs for custodial services. School officials said Heishman was not employed by the school system and that he would not be allowed on any of the campuses until after the charges were addressed by the court.

Police did not find any record of sexual misconduct in Heishman’s earlier history.

Heishman will appear in Warren County Circuit Court at 9 a.m. March 9.
