Entertainment gift cards are always popular holiday gifts.
For bowling enthusiasts, the Shenandoah Bowling Lanes, 5904 Main St. in Mount Jackson, offers gift certificates. Owner Tina Bowman said there is no minimum or maximum amount to use the gift certificates and they can be spent in-house on bowling and food items.
“Unfortunately, I don’t offer cards so the certificates have to be bought in house and used in-house,” she said. “Stopping in and getting the certificates also gives people a chance to check out our nostalgic atmosphere. We sold several gift certificates last year for the holiday season.”
Gift certificates can be purchased during the Shenandoah Bowling Lanes’ business hours from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Rick Novak, the owner of the Royal Family Bowling Center, 430 Remount Road in Front Royal, said the bowling alley offers gift cards and there’s no minimum denomination required.
“We do offer gift cards and they can come to Royal Family Bowling Center to purchase them, and they can put whatever amount they would like to put on them,” he said.
Novak said that gift cards can be bought during the bowling center’s business hours — 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
