Here are holiday activities being held in our area:
• "Belle Grove Through the Ages: A Celebration of Past Residents of the Manor House" holiday tours will be held through Sunday at 336 Belle Grove Road, south of Middletown. Each room is decorated by a local garden club. Heartstrings Dulcimers will perform from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Guided house tours are offered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Saturday, and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Candlelight tours will be offered from 4 to 8 p.m. today and Saturday. Admission is $12 for adults, $11 for members of the military, AAA, National Parks and seniors 60 and older; $6 for students 6 to 16 and National Trust for Historic Preservation members; free for children 5 and younger and Belle Grove members. • The Winchester chapter of the American Guild of Organists will hold its annual holiday organ recitals from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday in Historic Winchester churches. The program will start at 3 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church (114 W. Boscawen St.) , 3:45 p.m. at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church (26 W. Boscawen St.) and 4:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church (116 S. Loudoun St.). Visitors will have a procession of caroling and handbell ringing walking between recital sites. Refreshments follow.
