Singer/songwriter Jimmie Allen will headline the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival’s Country Music Party May 4 at the Tolley Dental Entertainment Zone, located at the James R. Wilkins Jr. Athletics & Events Center on the campus of Shenandoah University in Winchester.

His first official single “Best Shot” was the second most-added song to country music radio playlists. “Make Me Want To,” from his debut album “Mercury Lane” was released to country radio on Feb. 1.

Appearing with Allen is the sister-duo of Presley & Taylor and opening the show will be Bryan Frazier, a Winchester native. He has performed at Nashville venues such as The Bluebird Café, Whiskey Jam and The Ryman Auditorium.

Tickets, which are $30, are available at festival headquarters at 135 N. Cameron St., by calling 540-662-3863 or online at www.thebloom.com.
