I recently heard that Dr. Thomas Holthus was retiring from his practice in Strasburg. He has been my family physician for many years. His dedication to my parents' well-being was so appreciated. Doctor Holthus was always respectful, knowledgeable and sincerely interested in my parents as individuals. I think this is so important when a person is older...that he or she is recognized as a treasured individual, not placed in the category of “elderly.”

His receptionist, Sherry (I apologize for not knowing her full name) is also retiring. She was always so helpful with patience and respect when answering my many phone calls to the office. I wish Doctor Holthus a happy and well-deserved retirement. He will always hold a special place in my heart for his dedication to his work and his extraordinary help to my family.
