Grace is available for adoption at the Warren County Humane Society in Front Royal.

FRONT ROYAL – Grace, a 4-year-old domestic short hair, is available for adoption.

Carolann Myers, a kennel attendant at the Warren County Humane Society, said Grace was brought into the shelter in mid-March. She said that the cat’s previous owner brought her in because she was spraying in the home.

“[Grace] hasn’t had any problems since she’s been back here,” Myers said.

Myers said that Grace is good with people and kids of all ages. Myers recommended that Grace be the only animal in the household.

“I’ve tried putting [Grace] with other cats, but she would only hiss and fight with them,” she said. “She’s a really good lap cat, though. She’s a cuddle cat.”

Myers said that Grace is up to date on her shots and has been spayed. She said that the adoption fee has been waved as part of the shelter’s new program called “Diamonds in the Ruff.” The program is for animals who have been at the humane society for a certain period of time. Myers said that animals that are adopted through this program will get free food to take home and get micro-chipped for free.
