Milo, a 4-year-old boxer-bulldog mix, is available for adoption.

FRONT ROYAL – Milo, a 4-year-old boxer-bulldog mix, is up for adoption.

Lexi Caison, an animal caretaker with the Warren County Humane Society, said that Milo was brought into the shelter as an owner-surrender in early January.

“His original owners were moving and they couldn’t take him with them,” Caison said.

Caison said that Milo is good with people and kids.

“He’s one of our most adoptable dogs here,” she said. “He gets along with everyone.”

Caison said that Milo is good around other dogs, but he’s not interested in cats.

“If a dog doesn’t want to play or wants to be left alone, he’ll leave them alone,” she said. “He wants to play, but he’s not aggressive when he wants to play.”

Caison said that Milo is a “very hyper and playful” dog. She said that he loves to play with his toys.

“He also loves butt scratches and to snuggle,” she said.

Caison said that Milo may need a refresher course on house training and he does pull on the leash when he goes for walks. She said that Milo is also “treat motivated.”

Milo doesn’t have any health issues and is up to date on his shots. He also has been neutered.

The adoption fee for Milo is $140.
