WINCHESTER – Jasmine, a 4-year-old tortoiseshell cat, is up for adoption.
Max Thompson, a kennel attendant for the SPCA Animal Shelter of Winchester, Frederick, and Clarke counties, said that Jasmine was brought to the shelter around five months ago as a stray, making her the shelter’s longest-staying resident.
Thompson said Jasmine is good around people, but he doesn’t recommend her going to families with younger children.
“[Jasmine] has a little bit of an attitude, but she’s really a sweet cat,” Thompson said. “She’s looking for a quiet household.”
Thompson said that Jasmine should be fine around other cats.
He noted that Jasmine doesn’t have any health issues and has already been spayed. She is also up to date on all of her shots.
The adoption fee for Jasmine is $95.
