FRONT ROYAL— Police arrested a school bus driver on Wednesday, charging him with abduction after a 13-year-old student at Warren County Middle School accused him of making “inappropriate comments and advances toward her,” according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Agosto Luzunaris, 43, of Linden, appeared via video in Warren County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on Thursday morning because the General District court did not have a session. Luzunaris faces one charge of abduction, a felony.

It is unclear whether Luzunaris made multiple comments or advances to the student but the arrest warrant shows a range of dates for the offense. The incident, or incidents, he is charged with happened between Dec. 1 and March 4.

A Sheriff's Office spokesman was not available for comment on whether the student had multiple interactions with the driver.

According to a Sheriff's Office news release, the investigation into Luzunaris is ongoing but they have determined there wasn’t any risk of harm to other children. Luzunaris faces a kidnapping and abduction charge that is related to “restricting the movement of the victim while she was a passenger on a school bus,” according to the news release.
