The Front Royal Police Department has identified a second suspect involved in a Sunday morning home invasion.
Sgt. Jason Winner said over the phone that the department has three felony warrants out on Jerrell “J” Amada Williams, 34, on counts of robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and conspiracy to commit a robbery.
According to previous reports, the home invasion occurred early Sunday morning on West Prospect Street when four residents reported that two individuals, one of whom appeared to have a firearm, knocked on the door and forced their way inside. They proceeded to steal an undisclosed amount of money.
Some occupants of the home sustained minor injuries before the suspects fled the area on foot, according to a Front Royal Police Department news release.
David O. Brooten, 50, of Front Royal, has already been arrested by police and charged on the same three felony counts for which Williams is wanted.
Winner said that Williams is considered armed and dangerous because he has been charged with the use of the firearm, and that the gun has not yet been recovered. Winner said police were able to charge Williams after witnesses identified him through photographs.
Winner said that police have no idea where Williams may be, although he had been staying in a Warren County motel.
The release states that Williams “is known to frequent” Stephens City, Winchester and Frederick County.
The release states that the investigation is ongoing “and any information relating to this case and the whereabouts of Williams would be greatly appreciated.”
