Skyline finished fourth in the Class 3 Northwestern District Golf Championships that were held Monday at the Greene Hills Golf Club in Stanardsville.

Brentsville won a playoff to win the team title with a 314 after tying with William Monroe (314). George Mason was third with a 362, followed by Skyline (382) and Central (410). Warren County and Manassas Park did not have enough golfers to qualify for a team score.

Skyline was led by Noah Williams (80) Gabriel Smith (91), D.J. Campbell (103), Nathan Thomas (108), Blake Sibert (113) and Audrey Dueweke (120).

Central was led by Will Gochenour (90), Ben Walters (101), Sam Metcalf (104), Ethan Hoover (115) and Allen Pence (116). Camden Nichols had to withdraw mid-match.

Warren County’s golf team was led by Michael Kelly (106), Jackson Pond (114), Landon Pond (124) and Jonathan Panciera (125).

Brentsville’s Reid Sanders shot a one-over-par 72 to lead all golfers.

The Region 3B Championships will be held on April 13 at the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club in Front Royal. All teams in the region automatically qualify for regionals.
