Skyline put together another impressive win on Friday night with a 9-0 home Class 3 Northwestern District girls soccer win over Central.

Annie O'Fallon had a hat trick and one assist and Ashlyn Rosati had two goals and an assist to lead the Hawks. Kaitlin Cramer had two goals and Alex Hemingway and Audrey Dueweke each had one goal for Skyline. Hanna Edsell had three assists and Morgan Berry and Katelyn Doyle had an assist each for the Hawks. Skyline goalkeeper Laura Brown had one save.

The Hawks (6-1, 6-1 Class 3 Northwestern) play at William Monroe on Tuesday with first place in the district at stake. The Dragons handed the Hawks their only loss of the season.

Stonewall Jackson 11, East Rockingham 0

The Generals dominated the Eagles for a road Bull Run District victory.

Annika Dellinger had two goals and two assists and Eli Dellinger had one goal and three assists for the Generals.

Morgan Gibson had two goals and Kezia Despirito and Brooke Jones had one goal and one assist for Stonewall Jackson. Paola Arrocena Jacuinde, Katie Jordan, Kylene Franklin and Maddie Hoover each had a goal. Gracie Struder had an assist.

It was the fifth shutout of the season for the Generals. Stonewall Jackson (6-1, 6-1 Bull Run) hosts Strasburg on June 3.

Baseball

Stonewall Jackson 5, East Rockingham 0

The Generals scored four runs in the top of the sixth to pull away for a road Bull Run District win over the Eagles.

Brayden Hovatter went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored and Dawson Moomaw went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Stonewall Jackson.

The Generals (5-3, 5-3 Bull Run) host Clarke County on Tuesday.

Clarke County 2, Strasburg 0

The Rams managed only two hits in a road Bull Run District loss to the Eagles.

Tanner Jenkins and Collin Reynolds had Strasburg's only hits in the contest. Jenkins also pitched a complete game and allowed only three hits and struck out four.

Strasburg (2-7, 2-7 Bull Run) plays at East Rockingham on Tuesday.

Softball

East Rockingham 16, Stonewall Jackson 2, 5 innings

The Generals gave up nine runs in the second inning and couldn't recover in a Bull Run District road loss to the Eagles. The game was called after five innings due to the mercy rule.

Amy Hedrick and Kendall Neese each had a hit and Neese had an RBI for Stonewall Jackson. Alicia Bare and Bre Franklin each scored a run for the Generals.

Stonewall Jackson (0-7, 0-7 Bull Run) plays a doubleheader at Clarke County on Tuesday.
