A helicopter from Aerial Solutions Inc. of Tabor City, North Carolina, uses a saw consisting of multiple 24-inch diameter rotary blades to trim trees along the right of way for power lines off Sandy Hook Road in Strasburg on Tuesday. The 800-pound saw is suspended by a 90-foot boom. The company is contracted by the Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative to trim trees to keep them away from power lines in areas that are difficult to reach by ground crews.
