Some Shenandoah County voters can expect to see choices among candidates running for election this year.

The county voter registration office that also oversees elections received applications filed by or on behalf of people seeking to appear on the Nov. 5 election ballot.

Board of Supervisors

• District 2 — Steven Baker, a Republican Party candidate.

• District 3 — Bradley Pollack, a Republican Party candidate, and F. Coe Sherrard, an independent candidate.

• District 6 — Timothy Taylor, an independent candidate.

School Board

• District 2 — Jessica Kelly and Martin Helsley.

• District 3 — Cynthia Walsh.

• District 6 — Andrew Keller.

Constitutional offices

• Treasurer — Cindy George, the Democratic Party candidate, and Richard Walker, the Republican Party candidate

• Commissioner of Revenue — Kathy Black, a Republican Party candidate.

• Sheriff — Timothy Carter, a Republican Party candidate.

• Commonwealth’s Attorney — Amanda Wiseley, a Republican Party candidate.

Lord Fairfax Soil and Water Conservation District

• Joan Comanor and Mary Gessner.

District 15, House of Delegates

C. Todd Gilbert, a Republican Party candidate, and Beverly Harrison a Democratic Party candidate.

District 26, Senate of Virginia

• Mark Obenshain, a Republican Party candidate, and April Moore, a Democratic Party candidate.
