Staff at the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club work to make a wedding couple's special day as stress-free and beautiful as possible.

The venue offers a variety of rooms and amenities to meet most everyone’s vision for their wedding.

“Every bride has a vision. We try to be flexible to make it happen,” said Janet Maucione, event manager for the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club.

The banquet hall has three walls of windows to showcase the views.

“The views of the Blue Ridge Mountain from the banquet hall are drop-dead stunning, just majestic views,” said Maucione.

The Fairview Ballroom, with its large fireplace, is where most receptions are held. The wedding ceremony can be held in this room as well. The ballroom recently underwent a cosmetic renovation with new paint, new rugs for an updated fresh look.

Those couples wanting to get married outdoors can select the Fairview Courtyard. Some marry under a pergola or under an old beautiful tree, Maucione said.

She noted that one advantage of using the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club for a wedding is the full service that is offered.

“You don’t have to rent things. We are there coordinating. Couples and guests are there just having a good time. We also have excellent chefs,” Maucione said.

The club offers wedding packages that give couples a lot of alternatives – including to save money. One way to save is with meal offerings that do not sacrifice on taste. Couples can also book off-season for special rates on facility fees.

“That is a few ways for how people stay within their budget,” Maucione said.
