FRONT ROYAL – Citizens will be able to use the county treasurer and commissioner of revenue offices in a "soft opening" of the Warren County Government center, according to a county news release.
The release notes that people remain encouraged to pay taxes via the internet, mail, the building’s drive-thru, an on-site drop box.
The release states that “citizens who must visit in person” will be directed via signage “to come in the building through the secondary entrance door” labeled “Building Inspections,” where hand sanitizer will be available. Citizens will be pointed to another door to exit the building.
“The flow of foot traffic will be in one direction with social distancing decals placed at proper intervals on the floor down the length of the hallway,” the release states.
Besides the treasurer and commissioner of revenue offices, other portions of the building will remain closed to the public but can be contacted via phone, email or appointment.
