The following events are planned this weekend:


The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley will host Virtual Gardens at Night and a water bug exploration workshop this weekend at 901 Amherst St., Winchester.

Guitarist and vocalist Bryan Sttzman will give a virtual performance via Facebook Live at 7 p.m. today.

A water bug exploration workshop will be held from 9-11 a.m. Sunday. Registration is required by Saturday. The cost is $15 or $8 for MSV members.

A free showing of the film “Jumanji” will be held starting at 8:45 p.m. Saturday at the New Market Community Park.

Daylily plant sale

Daylily Daze will host a plant sale fundraiser from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at 454 Marple Road, Winchester. Money raised will benefit Healthy Families. A free daylily will be given for every $10 or more donation. Those attending will need a free ticket number. Message
