The following are some of the area events that will be held this weekend:

Patsy Cline House

The Patsy Cline Historic House will extend its season to be open on weekends through Dec. 15 at 608 S. Kent St., Winchester. House tours will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 1-4 p.m. Sundays. In December, Patsy Cline’s home will be decorated as it was when she lived there in the late 1940s through the mid-1950s.

Kernstown BattlefieldGary Ecelbarger and Scott Patchan will give a presentation on “The Battles and Leaders that Influenced Lincoln’s Re-Election in 1864” on Saturday at Kernstown Battlefield, 610 Battle Park Drive, Winchester. The presentation will include the battles of Second Kernstown, Atlanta, Jonesboro and Cedar Creek.

Bluegrass concertThe Top of Virginia will present the first in a series of bluegrass concerts to benefit the Frederick County Educational Foundation at 7 p.m. Saturday at Millbrook High School, 251 First Woods Drive, Winchester.

The first show features Russell Moore and IIIrd Thyme Out and the Lonesome Highway Reunion Band. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Future concerts will be held Dec. 14, Jan. 11 and Feb. 8. Information: https://www.topofvirginiabluegrass.com.

Belle GroveBelle Grove Plantation will host a dinner series event featuring the 1952 classic “Singin’ in the Rain” at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday at The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Kernstown.

Prior to the 7 p.m. showing, there will be a 6 p.m. lobby reception with appetizers and cash bar.

Selah TheatreSelah Theatre will present “Praying for Rain” at 7 p.m. today and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at the Youth Development Center, 3 Battaile Drive, Winchester.

Shenandoah ConservatoryShenandoah Conservatory will host the following concerts this weekend in Armstrong Concert Hall, 702 University Drive, Winchester:

Today: 7:30 p.m., Little Big Band, tickets are $12.

Saturday: 7:30 p.m., the Wind Ensemble performs, tickets are $12.

Winchester Little TheatreWinchester Little Theatre will present the comedy-thriller “Theft” at 8 p.m. today and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at 315 W. Boscawen St., Winchester.
