WOODSTOCK – The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Woodstock woman on Saturday, charging her with vandalism and breaking and entering.

According to a complaint filed with the Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, Melissa Foltz forced her way into a home by breaking out the window screen. Foltz, according to the complaint, attempted to break in through the front door, breaking the doorknob before she entered through the window.

The victim told police Foltz has broken into the home previously, according to the complaint. The complaint stated that Foltz stole a cat, cat litter and a cat litter box.

Foltz told a Sheriff’s Office deputy that she did break into the home and would continue to break in “as long as she believes there is anything else she considers marital property,” the complaint states.

Foltz was arrested on April 27 and will appear in court at 9 a.m. May 23.
