First Team

Gavin Kandrick, Skyline


The senior batted .380 with a homer, four doubles, a triple, 15 RBIs and 13 runs scored. Kandrick was a first team All-Conference 28 selection and a second team All-Region 3A East pick.

Pearce Bucher, Sherando


The junior third baseman led all public school players with a .449 batting average and 28 RBIs. Bucher was a Group 4A second team all-state selection by the VHSL and the VHSCA and first team All-Region 4A West.

Nick Dotson, Stonewall Jackson


The junior led the Generals with a .422 batting average and 21 RBIs and had a homer, seven doubles and 18 runs scored. Dotson was a Group 1A second team pick by the VHSL and VHSCA.

Cole Holsinger, Stonewall Jackson


The senior batted .325 with two homers, 12 doubles, 20 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He also pitched to a 7-3 record, a 1.95 ERA and 67 strikeouts in 61 innings. Holsinger was a VHSL Group 1A first team all-state pitcher.

Frank Ritter III, Sherando


The junior shortstop batted .356 with six doubles, two triples, 10 RBIs, 20 runs scored and 12 steals from the lead-off spot. Ritter was a first team All-Conference 21 West and All-Region 4A West selection.

Dylan Campbell, Strasburg


The senior led the Rams with a .423 batting average, eight doubles and 19 runs scored and had 11 RBIs. Campbell was a first team All-Conference 35 and All-Bull Run District pick and second team All-Region 2A East.

Luke Estep, Central


The junior led the Falcons in batting average (.397), doubles (5), RBIs (22) and runs scored (14) and was the area leader in triples (5) and home runs (3). Estep was a Group 2A second team all-state pick by the VHSL and VHSCA.

Adam Miller, Sherando


The senior led the Warriors in doubles (8), runs scored (27), steals (17), pitching wins (6) and strikeouts (53) and ranked in the area’s top 10 in batting average (.429) and RBIs (18). Miller was a Group 4A first team all-state pick by the VHSCA.

Ronnie Dodson, Warren County

Designated hitter

The sophomore batted .371 with a home run, six doubles and 10 runs scored and led Warren County with 17 RBIs. Dodson was a second team All-Conference 28 selection at designated hitter.

Hunter Entsminger, Sherando


The sophomore catcher/pitcher batted .315 with three triples and 15 RBIs and led the area with a 0.20 ERA and three saves in 34.2 innings pitched. Entsminger was a second team All-Conference 21 West pick at utility and pitcher.

Cory Clinedinst, Strasburg


The senior ranked third in the area with a 1.82 ERA and was fourth with 55 strikeouts in 50 innings pitched. Clinedinst was a first team All-Bull Run District and All-Conference 35 selection.

Cameron Ford, Warren County


The senior was 6-4 with a 1.71 ERA and led the area with 74 strikeouts in 65.2 innings pitched. He batted .446 with 12 doubles, 17 RBIs and 23 runs scored. Ford was the Bull Run District Player of the Year and second team All-Region 3A East.

Mike Lenox, Stonewall Jackson


In his sixth and final season as the Generals’ head coach, Lenox guided Stonewall to its first regional tournament appearance in 22 years and the program’s first state championship game appearance.
